What is TIYC?
Turkey International Yachting Club (TIYC) is a community that brings together yacht owners, amateur sailors and industry professionals under one roof. Open to anyone passionate about the sea, one of its core goals is to establish yacht brokerage in Turkey as an internationally recognized profession. Marine Group Yachting is part of this vision, contributing to the industry's development alongside TIYC.
Led by Şahan Demircan
TIYC's founding and direction are led by Şahan Demircan, founder of Marine Group Yachting. Years of hands-on industry experience have shaped a vision for yacht brokerage in Turkey that can compete on the international stage.
Why TIYC?
For a long time, yacht sales in Turkey lacked structure and standards. TIYC aims to bring international standards, education, and an ethical framework to the brokerage profession — building an ecosystem that can compete with the industry's global players.
